Mirdif at a glance
Visiting Mirdif has been on the agenda for a long time now, especially after hearing much about Mirdif "Uptown". I have friends in the Mirdif area but avoid that part of town as it can be quite crowded at times.
The area has been done-up quite well, if I may say so: a nice place to live. A community spirit, indeed. I can't speak much for the roads; but, in time, problems have their solutions. It's quite countryside, if you ask me.
Lovely, innovative architectural design; wide roads, shops-a-plenty: perfect living area. The commute to "Uptown" Mirdif is easy, relatively speaking.
An attractive shopping complex with a nice promenade awaits every shopper. The view across this promenade is the fortune of any resident that avails of the scenery surrounding this beautiful area.

You got me all excited with this "midriff" talk. I thought you were going to show your midriff. Instead we get this!!! How disappointing!
Hey, that picture you pasted to this label is not clickable. In other words, it evades justice to your commentary.
So, you take off that shopping mall and the grand open space resembles any town square in Europe.
Cool pic, even if it's a tiny url cool pic ;)
Enjoy the weekend, & stay away from the dusty weather.
Hey dotsson - my midriff is insured - wouldn't be able to showcase it online without an appearance fee! :P Congrats about Columbia!
*kyle - don't know why it's not clickable. Believe me, if I were a technical whizz I would have shown off my skills :P Here's the link if you're interested - http://www.jeffvergara.com/dpp/032307_hallucination2_large.jpg
I actually like it when the sky is white but not when it's a by-product of the construction all over the place!
I will definitely be staying away from this weather when I take off today - yipee!
You take care too and will be back on the blogosphere in a few days...
Enjoy!
LMAO @ dotsson!
Hey where are you taking off too,and when do you come back.
Well wherever you go, have a sweet time.
Hugs
i can sense a 'but' in all your comments of everything being perfect...
From an earlier post hun... I thought I'd explain to you how to post links with html as you mentioned you didn't know how. It's really easy actually. Let’s say I want to link your blog, and I want it to read as . I would use the formula below replacing the [ and ] signs with < and > (greater & lessthan signs). If I use the proper brackets you won’t be able to see what I’m typing.
[a href=http://desperate princessdubai.blogspot.com/]blog[/a].
(I have put a space in your blog url just so you can see the whole thing here, however when you do it, there should be no spaces at all, except after the first "a" and in the title if you want one).
“[a href=” must start the link. After the = sign, you put the URL of the page you want to link. That is followed by a closing “]” sign. Immediately after the closing sign, you put the title as you want the link to appear, then close the whole thing with a “[/a]”. And that’s it.
It’s not all that hard at all. Now it’s been great to pop in here and see how you’ve been doing. Some very insightful posts as of late. Do hope you and yours are well.
ah, makes me a tad homesick :)
*kaya I'm back to black !! Heading off to AD now, wish me luck! lol
*mars, actually it's a very nice place but not really where the action is, in my opinion
*tainted, I will read your comment and memorise all the details over the weekend... thanks a lot for taking the time to type it all out
*buj, memzar ain't far away. btw mamzar known for its playboys. not that you are one.
hehe.. i wouldn't know this info about mamzar or any other areas.. i have however noticed some dodgy guys in fast cars driving very slowly on the roads there.
as a guy i find it annoying, and coz i'm a guy they don't really give me much attention, so i guess we're both happy.
ps: i noticed there ain't that many tyre shops in mamzar, i should open one coz these dudes, although the go slow, they go thru a LOT of tyres!
plus the used up ones can be re-used as padding near roundabouts and peoples' houses in case these cars spin out of control.
not to protect the cars, but rather other peoples' property.
