My "silence" has been due to a couple of traumatic situations in the last month or so.
Dealing with these events has taken a toll in many ways: in the short-term, I believe I am recovering; in the long-term, I hope the recovery will be as speedy.
They say, "don't lay all your eggs in one basket".
As long as I am alive, I am happy.

You know what they say about the rain pouring....thats the way life goes. One way or the other but never in the middle.

I always thought "the grass was greener" on my side, but I'm having to find middle-ground now, which has come as a little bit of a reality shock.

Yes, thanks for pointing this out. I realise my English has become rather Americanised of late...I had better keep a check on my language or else no entrance to Helgaland! I substituted the word "lay" with "carry" - unintentionally! lol ;-)
