3rd Death Anniversary - Shaikh Zayed in our hearts

Millions of eyes cried
When on this day you went away

Your legend will last for eternity
O, Father of the UAE

Shaikh Zayed in our hearts
Forever and always

May your soul rest in heavenly peace.

Bless you Sheikh Zayed.. Allah yer7mk.

Wow.. come to think of it, it seems like ages away.. however so much has changed in three short years.. and yet the Zayed mosque is yet to be completed.

btw, I'm really interested to know if you know the answer to this:

Shaikh Zayed was great by all accounts; life in his days was about quality of life, he was simple and great… he showed people love in everyway…. People loved him not just as leader but as father figure and not only in the UAE but all around….. his wisdom will be taught generations

Thanks, all of you, for your comments, and thanks to all who read this and respects the UAE.

I also posted this on the UAE comm blog and only 1-2 ppl out of ca. 40 comments said something respectful. To top it all off, check the post beneath it *on the same day*. And the first comment on the new post after this one reads "thank you Goat for breaking the post-Zayed post drought!"

I guess those who complain about the UAE are so grumpy because they mix with each other too much (no pun intended with "grumpy"! --hmm the post was written by Grumpy Goat and the comment addressed to him)

*Shlemazl if you're reading this, I didn't feel a political question appropriate to this post. And besides, I don't see how my opinion on the subject matters to you. In case you'd like to mention the subj. on your own blog, my readers are welcome to click on your bloglink which I have kindly listed on the right-hand-side ;-)
