Desert Secret
I cast my eyes towards the golden desert
The landscape stretching beyond a thousand miles
A million days gone by, and a million to come
The sand hits my senses, and I am alive
My vision embraces the distance
The soft contours of today and tomorrow
How those gentle dunes breathe life into my presence
How I whisper desert secrets in my eternal dreams
You are the desert
And I am pleasantly lost in you

Beautiful, beautiful indeed - there simply is something melancholicly positive with the desert & the dunes. It's like you can stand there, feel a 1000 memoirs & emotions. It engulfs, warms, protects and leaves you with such serene & calm within.

I love the desert and the mountains. Once can feel a 1000 memoirs and timeless stories just being around the desert and the mountains - very melancholic, I really feeling this way. Wish I could put it in better words or comprehension.
Me poet - nope, nothing serious. I As a kiddo, I used to write Young Times and Junior News - small poems about, smiles, family, twins and all - just simple rhymey stuff :)

Yup, I used to be those kiddos who would constantly write in. Guess what, I've got many prizes for those short write ups and tacky poems lol :)
I loved Young Times - the folks there were more understanding. Junior news was always a bit stuck up, especially in the late 80's....
I was a "proud" member of the Young Times, Otto Fan club - still have that memebership card :)
