My 10 simple pleasures
So...hmm..do I spot the word "simple"? What on earth does that mean? And "pleasures"...well, I''ll try and define those as I write...in no particular order:
1) Sleeping past the 8-hour mark (a rare accomplishment) and dreaming of rainbows, mountains, travelling, and cake.
2) Listening to music that makes me sing to words I cannot understand.
3) My work. I love it, and it loves me.
4) Looking in the mirror. This is one of my favourite pastimes.
5) Cooking something I think tastes as nice as something a semi-pro chef could have cooked.
6) The *sunshine* and *desert* - I simply cannot survive without these things. The air of the UAE is the reason for my being.
7) Fast cars. My favourite are shiny and black. We can talk about horsepower another time.
8) I take great pleasure in knowing I'm safe. But when someone (usually men) harrasses me, I don't let them get away with it. I take even greater pleasure in knowing they didn't get away with it.
9) My nails & hair: particularly because they require minimal attention and generate maximal attention. You might need to be female to understand the significance...
10) Finding my mobile in my bag at the end of the day, knowing I've not misplaced it again...
I'd also like to tag *paraglider, though I'm not sure he'd be interested...?!

Most beautiful. It is amazing how you are part of it, and how it becomes a part of you. There is none other like it.

Walla, madry. If you don't know what tagging is, I suggest looking it up on the net...this is what I did when I was first tagged, and it took me ages to respond coz I had no clue what it meant.
It simply means someone has asked you to fulfil the "terms" of the "tag" which means posting the responses and usually "linking" to a few others. It's like a "chain". I don't know how else to explain it = look up "blog" and "tag" in google, you may get a better understanding!
Anyhow, look forward to reading your "tag-post"!

You must have one of those beautiful mirrors, you can buy them in Karama, you know the ones that you look in and it says how beautiful you are.
I had one, but it choked.

Where is Karama? Last time I checked, it wasn't one of the places I'd usually hang around.
