Anything about Nothing

Can I manage to think about anything while thinking about nothing?

Well, within the last 24 hours, I'm afraid there's been too much not to write about. But sometimes, it's better to say nothing than anything.

What can I say? My day was full of important activities. Some of the in-between activities were, if I may say so, quite "in-between". I found myself having to negotiate road lanes, languages and international currencies. Fantastic, when I thought my life was easy. And then, I rolled my way home in the slow lane. Slow as can be. (I mean, didn't they say the latest minimum speed was 80kmh?) Doddling along at this killer speed, I contemplated the contrast of horrid emotions 'those-in-a-hurry" must be experiencing versus people like me in-the-slow-lane (it's not like I wouldn't be able to put myself "in those shoes" on my way into Dubaitown, in the *morning* rush hour!).

Anyway, I hum and I mumble to the latest 80s tunes, heard on TAPE. Yes, I declare I have no idea what the difference between I-Pod and MP3 is: Halleluiah! Everytime I try and ask about it, a million moustached guys at Plug-Ins run to my attention. Do they want my money, or a momentary glimpse? Mewonders. The questions remained unanswered, and I remain clueless.

I still don't know the difference between MP3 and I-Pod. At least I know there's a difference.

There are some things I'd rather not know until they NEED to be known about. I enjoy being uninformed about these things, and finding out about things that I don't need, or *wish* to understand, such as the road toll, until they NEED to be found out about. That is the mystery of life.

I been many times to blug-ings but all the guys there have no mustaches or are filipinos.. man.. you must have been standing really close to that counter.

LOL...the point about the "moustaches" was to differentiate between the hairy and the philipinos. The philipinos normally know when to stand back, whereeas the more hair-inclined never know when to stay back. That's the difference. And then, after all this "getting them to stop staring and start serving", I lose interest in I-Pods. That's my excuse, and a damn good reason.

Me thinks ipod is just marketing gimmick. Stick with a simple mp3 player, you have the FM radio options with creative MP3 players or if you wanna just stick with the ipod for the glamour quotient, that'd be a decent choice as well.

What is plug ins? Is it the new version of jumbo? Maybe it came to town subsequebt to my time?

80Kms eh? what do you drive i*... don't tell it's - The Sunny?

*rosh, I do agree i-pod has a glamour aspect to it. My understanding is this is far more popular than MP3s. Don't know about the features of both so until I find out for myself what the real difference is, I won't be able to determine which one I need. I do want either one. Whether I need either or not, unfortunately I'm going to have to succumb to this mini-technological revolution whether I like it or not. It's nice to be a puppet sometimes, and even better when you're the last to catch on to it!

Plug-ins is like Jumbo. Electronics shop. Don't know the difference really...

80kms = lol. Excuse me? Me - Sunny? That's got to be the biggest insult a girl can endure! I'll take it with a pinch of salt though. I find myself in the slow lane after work, when I'm tired, or not in a rush. It's unlike me not to drive fast, but it's nice to drive slowly for a change!

OK - go with the ipod, it is easy to use. The limiting thing with ipod is that you can download songs only from itunes (the music store of Apple).

Else it is quite easy to use and has much glamour - similar to Dubau :)

oops my bad, I was kidding on the Sunny - cannot imagine you in a Sunny - I say the Corvette, the M3 or an S4?

*rosh, thanks for the tip. I think before I buy either an i-pod or mp3, I ought to learn how to download...LOL things just get more complicated!

Firstly, I can't stand the "poor man's ferrari" - corvette (sorry if anybody has one out there!), m3 - what is that, bmw? s4...hmm?? LOL

I like porsche ;)

Downloading songs iS baby stuff, you'll pick it up in no time.

M3 is beamer and S4 is an Audi. They are both 8 cylinder compact size sport babies.

I almost got the S4, but my insurance went over the roof - let me put it this way, the insurance paymment was more than the car payment. So I settled for an A4 - with 2 less cylinders and I love her to death :)

My beef with a Ferrari is paint work (besides insurance, and that I cannot afford one) - a dent on it, can dent your wallet.
